Comparison review
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a general score of 78.2, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Play's 76.7 score. The Xiaomi Poco M3 body is just a little thicker but a little lighter than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and both were released with only a few months difference. Both devices in this review work with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
Motorola Moto G9 Play's processing unit is just as good as the Xiaomi Poco M3 one, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a more vivid screen than Moto G9 Play, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a higher pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px.
Moto G9 Play's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to the Xiaomi Poco M3 one, both have a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Moto G9 Play shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same resolution back camera and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Motorola Moto G9 Play also has a bigger sensor, a bigger aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited environments and faster video frame rate.
Xiaomi Poco M3 features improved battery performance than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
