Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, having a general score of 79.6 against 78.2. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A40 has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10, so it gives a lot of extra features and improved performance. Samsung Galaxy A40 is an older phone than Xiaomi Poco M3, but it is somewhat thinner and way lighter anyway.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a bit better performance than Galaxy A40. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy A40 has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.

Galaxy A40 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Xiaomi Poco M3, both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and the same internal memory. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 94 percent larger battery capacity.
