Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is much better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, getting an 87.5 score against 78.2. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A71 has 11 version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10 version, so it counts with some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Galaxy A71's design is much thinner and a bit lighter than Xiaomi Poco M3, despite of the fact that it was released only 10 months before.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a little better performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A71 and Xiaomi Poco M3 count with quite similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A71 has a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit bigger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a superior camera than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much better (4K) video quality and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has 128 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Poco M3 features superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A71, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
Although Galaxy A71 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
