Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M12 has a general score of 80, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Poco M3's 78.2 score. Samsung Galaxy M12's design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but it's somewhat heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 OS, so both should count with very similar OS features.
Samsung Galaxy M12 has a processing unit that's just as good as Xiaomi Poco M3's CPU, they have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Poco M3 has a brighter display than Galaxy M12, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a higher pixel density and a lot better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a back camera with a 48 MP resolution and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a bigger diafragm aperture. Galaxy M12 features a bigger storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy M12 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 and the Galaxy M12 feature really similar battery performance.
