The Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3's global score of 78.2. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10 version. Galaxy Note 5 is an way older cellphone than the Xiaomi Poco M3, but it is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

Xiaomi Poco M3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has 7 more CPU cores (although they are slower). The Xiaomi Poco M3 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a way bigger back camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality, a camera in the back with a way better 48 MP resolution and a bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments.

Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up some specs and features.
