Comparison review
Galaxy S5 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a score of 80.8 against 78.2. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S5 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features and a performance increase. The Galaxy S5 design is lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Poco M3, although it was released many years before.
Galaxy S5 counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a higher pixels density. The Galaxy S5 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has 4 less processing cores and less RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a bit better camera than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way more mega-pixels back camera and a much bigger camera sensor. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 32 GB more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a way better battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, resigning some features and specifications.
