Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3, getting a 79.8 score against 78.2. Although Sony Xperia XZ Premium is incredibly older than the Xiaomi Poco M3, it's design is thinner and a little lighter. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Poco M3. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Xperia XZ Premium features an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better display pixel density and a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. Xiaomi Poco M3 has a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a lot more MP back-facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture and a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much longer battery performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 3230mAh.
