Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, having a 79.8 score against 78.2. These devices have Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version while Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10. Xperia Z5 Premium is an much older cellphone than Xiaomi Poco M3, but it's somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter anyway.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a much sharper screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel amount per inch of display and a way higher 3840 x 2160 resolution. Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Poco M3 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a way higher resolution back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, giving up a couple features and specs.
