Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco M3, with a 79 score against 78.2. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S design is just a bit thinner but a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and both of them were released with only 8 months difference.
Xiaomi Poco M3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S have really similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a little bit inferior pixel quantity per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite larger screen. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Poco M3. Both have 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a back-facing camera with a 48 mega-pixels resolution and a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much higher (4K) video resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Xiaomi Poco M3 one, both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with greater battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 5020mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Poco M3, resigning a couple features and specifications.
