The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a global score of 90.9, which is better than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's general score of 81.5. Although it's the best device in this comparison review, Huawei Mate 40 Pro is an older, just a little bit heavier and a little thicker device than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G. These phones use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the older 10 version while Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has Android 11 version.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little faster CPU than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because it has a just a little higher pixel count in each inch of display, a higher resolution of 1334 x 2772 and a quite larger display.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light photography, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also counts with a way higher (4K) video definition.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little bit more memory for games and applications than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery capacity.
