Comparison review
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G is a bit better than Galaxy A40, having a general score of 81.5 against 79.6. The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G design is newer than Galaxy A40's, but it is just a little bit thicker and way heavier. Both of these phones include the same Android 11 OS. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a quite bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A40. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a much better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also counts with better video frame rates and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
