Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is a little bit better than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, with an 87 score against 81.5. Both devices in this review use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so they should provide identical OS features. Samsung Galaxy A42 is a just a little bit lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, but both of them are equally thin.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also has a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a greater screen pixel density. The Galaxy A42 counts with a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a bit better processor than Galaxy A42. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 processing cores. The Galaxy A42's battery duration is just as good as Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's battery duration.
