Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's 81.5 general score. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is thinner and somewhat lighter than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version and Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has Android 11.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2248px, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each display inch.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same aperture, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also has higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a lot more MP camera. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a very superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh.
