Comparison review
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G has a score of 81.5, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G's 80.8 score. The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G construction is a bit heavier but just a bit thinner than the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and they were released only 6 months apart. These devices work with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G. Both have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a display that is just as good as Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G's screen, because although the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G, although it has a lower (Full HD) video resolution and a lesser MP resolution back facing camera, they both have a same size aperture. The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro 5G also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
