Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, having a score of 79.5 against 72.6. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has newer 14 version while Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro has Android 12 version, offering some additional features and performance tweaks. Asus ROG Phone 8's construction is newer, but just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 8 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, because although it has a just a bit lower screen density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a much brighter display and a little larger display.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro counts with more memory for applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
Asus ROG Phone 8 captures greater photos and videos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited situations and a much worse resolution camera in the back.
