Motorola Edge 20 is much better than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, getting a global score of 86.1 against 72.6. Even though the Motorola Edge 20 and Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro were only released 7 months apart, the Motorola Edge 20 is a little bit lighter and thinner. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 20 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro has Android 12 version.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro features a bit sharper display than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro also counts with a bit greater pixel density. The Motorola Edge 20 counts with a lot better performance than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Motorola Edge 20 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Edge 20 captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light captures, it also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro features better battery life than Motorola Edge 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
