Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is slightly better than Xiaomi Poco X2, getting a global score of 79.6 against 79.3. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy A40 is older than the Xiaomi Poco X2, it's body is thinner and incredibly lighter. These devices have the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 features a little better performance than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixel density.
Galaxy A40 features a superior memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Poco X2, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A40 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco X2 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way larger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality, a back facing camera with a lot better 64 megapixels resolution and a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
Xiaomi Poco X2 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
