The Xiaomi Poco X2 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, having a general score of 79.3 against 78.1. Even though the Xiaomi Poco X2 is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Poco X2 has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Poco X2, although it has a quite smaller screen, a quite worse display pixel density and a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a much bigger memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has more internal storage.

Xiaomi Poco X2 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also has 4 more CPU cores. The Xiaomi Poco X2 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.

The Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot better quality videos and pictures, a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in low-light environments and a much better resolution back-facing camera.
