Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco X2, with a score of 83.3 against 79.3. Xiaomi Mi 8 is an older device than the Xiaomi Poco X2, but Xiaomi made it thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Poco X2 has Android 11 version.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Poco X2, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2248, it also counts with a little bit higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Poco X2. Both have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cores.

Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Poco X2, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a way larger sensor.

The Xiaomi Poco X2 has longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 3400mAh.
