Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is better than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, having a general score of 93.3 against 83.4. Both phones we compare here use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. Even when Xperia 1 III and Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, Xperia 1 III is lighter and thinner.
The Xperia 1 III features a much better display than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much higher pixel number per inch in the display. Sony Xperia 1 III has a very superior memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 1 TB, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more internal memory.
The Xperia 1 III features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro features a bit better battery performance than Xperia 1 III, because it has 5160mAh of battery capacity.
Xperia 1 III has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a camera with a way worse 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and video and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
