Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, having a 79.5 score against 76.7. The Huawei Mate 20 design is a bit lighter than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, but it's a little bit thicker and was released 3 years before. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has Android 12.
The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a bit greater pixel density, a brighter screen, a little bit bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G counts with a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, it also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 108 mega pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G features improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
