The Moto G4 Plus is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 2, getting a overall score of 72.1 against 65.7. Even though the Moto G4 Plus is newer than Xiaomi Redmi 2, it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, although it has a little bit smaller display, a just a bit inferior count of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution.
The Moto G4 Plus has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 2, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a bit faster processing unit than Moto G4 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics co-processor.
Moto G4 Plus counts with longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi 2, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity. The Moto G4 Plus has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Moto G4 Plus also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels and a larger aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Moto G4 Plus is also by far the cheapest one.
