Google Pixel 4a has a global score of 82.9, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's global score of 71.7. Google Pixel 4a's design is way newer, just a bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. These phones have Android OS, but Google Pixel 4a has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Google Pixel 4a has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a quite greater pixel density and a bigger screen. The Google Pixel 4a counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Google Pixel 4a also has a larger amount of RAM.
Google Pixel 4a has a superior storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with greater battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a couple features and specs.
