Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 10 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a overall score of 78.9 against 71.7. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 10 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Huawei Mate 10's design is newer and just a bit thinner, but heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
The Huawei Mate 10 has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a little greater quantity of pixels in each inch of display, a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. Huawei Mate 10 counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB and more internal memory.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a bit superior battery performance than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 2 percent more battery size.
The Huawei Mate 10 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a camera with a worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way larger diafragm aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 10 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 10, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning a couple features and specs.
