Comparison review
LG Q8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, having a 77.2 score against 71.7. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but LG Q8 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Although the LG Q8 and the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were only released with a couple of months difference, the LG Q8 is thinner and just a little lighter.
LG Q8 has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a little bit larger display, more pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The LG Q8 features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a little bit better performance than LG Q8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower). The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a much better battery performance than LG Q8, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
LG Q8 counts with a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a better 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture for better photography in low light situations.
