Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a score of 78.8 against 71.7. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Microsoft Surface Duo has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Microsoft Surface Duo's design is newer and noticeably thinner, but extremely heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime.
Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Duo has a display that is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime one, because although the Microsoft Surface Duo has a little bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a lot bigger screen and a lot higher 1800 x 2700 pixels resolution.
Microsoft Surface Duo has a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a bit better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity instead of 3577mAh.
The Microsoft Surface Duo takes a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 11 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low-light images and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Duo, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning some specs and features.
