Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G8 Power has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Moto G8 Power body is much newer than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's, but it's a little thicker and heavier.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has just a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit higher count of pixels in each screen inch. Moto G8 Power features a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime and Motorola Moto G8 Power both feature very similar CPUs, and although the Motorola Moto G8 Power has 1 GB more RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Moto G8 Power has a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a more megapixels back facing camera and a way bigger aperture for better low-light photos and video.

Although Moto G8 Power is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Moto G8 Power, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, giving up some specs and features.
