Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 5 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a 79.3 score against 71.7. Galaxy Note 5's design is somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, although it is just a little heavier and was released about 15 months before. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy Note 5 has older 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 7 more processing cores (although slower). Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a just a bit better pixel density, a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a quite larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a lot better video definition and a larger aperture. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 4100mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning a couple specifications.
