Galaxy S5 Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 global score. These phones come with Android OS, but Galaxy S5 Plus has 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy S5 Plus's construction is just a bit lighter and a bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, despite of the fact that it was released 2 years before.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has lesser CPU cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a little lower display pixels density, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a little larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a back facing camera with a better resolution. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime also has more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a couple specs and features.
