The Galaxy S8 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a general score of 81.7 against 71.7. The Galaxy S8 is a a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, even when they were released only 5 months apart. The Galaxy S8 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen and a bigger screen.
Galaxy S8 features a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that holds up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has more RAM.
The Galaxy S8 captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video definition and a way bigger camera aperture. The Galaxy S8 is more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
