Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's 71.7 global score. Xperia 1's body is noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's, although it is also somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 1 features a better display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a bigger display and a greater pixels density. The Xperia 1 counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels camera, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way bigger aperture.
Xperia 1 features a much better storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features better battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
