Comparison review
The Xiaomi 12X is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with a score of 77.8 against 71.7. Although the Xiaomi 12X is somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it's a bit thinner and also extremely newer. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi 12X has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a much better performing processing unit than Xiaomi 12X, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12X counts with a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bigger screen.
The Xiaomi 12X captures a lot better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a way better video resolution, a way better 50 megapixels resolution back camera and a larger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments. The Xiaomi 12X has a much greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi 12X features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
