Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's overall score of 71.7. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (Operating System). Although Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were released only a couple of months apart, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus body is a little heavier but also somewhat thinner.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a quite inferior count of pixels per screen inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920px resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also counts with a bit larger screen. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a CPU that is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus takes slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also has a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations.
