Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, with an 81.4 score against 71.7. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE body is much newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. These phones use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a larger screen. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
