The Xiaomi Mi MIX is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, getting a 76.2 score against 71.7. Even though Xiaomi Mi MIX and the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime were only released 0 months apart, the Xiaomi Mi MIX construction is extremely heavier but also somewhat thinner. These phones come with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (operating system).
Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a little bit worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2040 resolution and a bigger screen. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 4 more processing cores.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX has a much greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a bigger aperture for better low light photography, a more megapixels back camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because it has a 4400mAh battery size against 4100mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, resigning some specifications.
