The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a score of 81.2, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime's score of 71.7. Although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, it's thinner and also newer. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a bit greater screen pixel density. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has a back-facing camera with lesser mega-pixels, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a lot better (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime counts with better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime. If you want to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
