The Moto G4 Plus is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 5, getting a 72.1 score against 67.2. The Moto G4 Plus construction is a little lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi 5, but it's much thicker and was released about a year before. Xiaomi Redmi 5 has just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Moto G4 Plus has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a higher pixels density. Moto G4 Plus captures a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 5, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Moto G4 Plus also has a bigger aperture to capture better low light captures and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.

The Moto G4 Plus has a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 5, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Moto G4 Plus also has more internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 has just a little better battery duration than Motorola Moto G4 Plus, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3000mAh.

In addition to being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Motorola Moto G4 Plus is also cheaper than the Xiaomi Redmi 5, making this phone a very good choice.
