Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 6, getting a 78.1 score against 72.5. Even being the best device in this review, Galaxy XCover 5's construction is heavier and a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi 6. Galaxy XCover 5 works with Android 11 operating system, and Xiaomi Redmi 6 counts with Android operating system.
Galaxy XCover 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 6 have extremely similar processors, both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater display density and a slightly better 720 x 1480 resolution.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 6, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's battery duration is very similar to the battery performance in Xiaomi Redmi 6.
Galaxy XCover 5 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi 6, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a way higher 16 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
