Comparison review
The Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi 6's global score of 72.5. Xperia 1's body is somewhat heavier but just a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 6. Sony Xperia 1 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 6, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 has an incredibly better display than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has a bigger screen, a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot higher pixels number per inch in the display. Sony Xperia 1 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia 1 has a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi 6, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity. Xperia 1 takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 6, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels, the Xperia 1 also has a way larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and a much better (4K) video quality.
