Comparison review
The Galaxy S III is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi 9, having a score of 74.8 against 71.3. Even though the Galaxy S III is incredibly older than the Xiaomi Redmi 9, it's body is just a bit thinner and noticeably lighter. The Galaxy S III counts with Android 4.3 OS, and Xiaomi Redmi 9 comes with Android OS.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM. Galaxy S III features a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi 9, although it has a lot worse 1280 x 720 resolution, a way smaller screen and a bit worse pixels number in each inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy S III captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 9, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, a back camera with a much lower resolution and a smaller diafragm aperture. The Galaxy S III features a superior memory for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 9, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy S III also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9 has a much longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has a 139 percent bigger battery size.
Galaxy S III is a little more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi 9, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
