Comparison review
The Galaxy S8 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9C, with an 81.7 score against 69.5. Galaxy S8's design is way lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 9C, even though it was released 3 years before. Galaxy S8 counts with a much sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 9C, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixels density and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
Galaxy S8 counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 9C, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi 9C, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9C has a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Galaxy S8 shoots better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9C, because although it has a camera in the back with lesser MP resolution, it also counts with a much higher video quality and a lot larger aperture to capture better images in low light environments.
