The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, with a overall score of 90.9 against 78.2. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Huawei Mate 40 Pro's body is just a little bit thinner but a little bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and both were only released 3 months apart.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
