Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T's global score of 78.2. Even though Huawei P40 Pro is older and just a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, it's body is still just a little thinner. Both phones in this comparison review come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Pro has a slightly better display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has a bit bigger display, a just a bit higher pixel density and a little bit higher 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 Pro captures much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a way better 3840x2160 video quality and a better 50 MP resolution camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a very superior battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
