Comparison review

The LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, getting an 84.3 score against 78.2. LG G8 ThinQ is an older phone than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, but it's thinner and lighter anyway. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10, so it provides a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better pixel density.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T shoots slightly better photos and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also counts with a lot bigger sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much better battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
