The Samsung Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T's 78.2 global score. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10. Samsung Galaxy M30 is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, but Samsung was able to build it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a much better camera than Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality photos, a bigger aperture for better images and video in low light situations and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M30, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
