Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T's 78.2 overall score. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect. The Galaxy M40 body is lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, despite of the fact that it was released just a little further than a year before.
Galaxy M40 features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M40 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Galaxy M40 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy M40's camera is very similar to Xiaomi Redmi 9T's camera, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much tinier sensor providing a way lower image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture and a lot higher (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy M40 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a much longer battery duration than Galaxy M40, because it has a 71 percent bigger battery capacity.
