Comparison review
Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, with a score of 79.3 against 78.2. Even though Galaxy Note 5 is way older than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, it's body is lighter and much thinner. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 5 has older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a higher number of cores. Galaxy Note 5 has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 100% larger battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back facing camera, a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality pictures and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low light situations.
