Galaxy Note5 has a global score of 80.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T's 78.2 overall score. Galaxy Note5's construction is lighter and extremely thinner than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixel amount in each inch of display.

The Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Galaxy Note5 features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos and videos, a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and a camera in the back with a way better 48 MP resolution.

Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a way better battery performance than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 100 percent bigger battery capacity.
