Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, getting an 82.6 score against 78.2. The Sony Xperia 1 is an older cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, but Sony was able to make it somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Sony Xperia 1 features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia 1 features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 also has a lot higher screen pixel density and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. Xperia 1 has a much greater storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Xperia 1 also has 64 GB more internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures much better photos and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also counts with a way larger sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos, better 30 fps video frame rate and a much more megapixels back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a very superior battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3330mAh.
