Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is much better than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, with a 93.3 score against 78.2. The Xperia 1 III is a just a little lighter and somewhat thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, even though both were released with only 5 months difference. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Xperia 1 III has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a lot higher screen density and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. Sony Xperia 1 III has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has more RAM.
The Xperia 1 III features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB and 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 III takes a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger camera aperture for better low light photos and videos and a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features improved battery lifetime than Xperia 1 III, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
